Angeflorin, a new flavone glucoside from the leaves of angelonia grandiflora. [Reference: WebLink]
A new flavone glucoside, Angeflorin, was isolated from the leaves of A. grandiflora along with salvigenin and baicalein. By chemical as well as UV, IR, PMR and mass spectral data, Angeflorin was characterized as 5-hydroxy-4',7-dimethoxy-6-O-.beta.-D-glucosylflavone. The leaves also contain a significant quantity of D-mannitol.
